Playstate On Fern is a new-age contemporary gallery, offering a hub for local Newcastle artists to create, express and connect through their works. Our gallery displays artists exhibitions, studios, regular workshops, markets and other events. We invite the Newcastle Community to create, share,

learn and experience our space.

It's more than just a workshops, we offer an experience each time you step through the threshold of our every changing art space.

Kids Graffiti Workshop

The First Sunday of Each Month
10am - 12pm
2pm - 4pm

Playstate is extremely excited to introduce our first ever in-house aerosol workshops.

We welcome all skills levels to come along and learn about street art practices and the practical application of aerosol to boards to create artwork. Aimed at kids 8-17 our 2 hour workshops show kids how to draw letters, play their piece and complete an artwork in a safe and supportive environment.

Playstate On Fern and local artist Jakeob Watson will be running Sticker Designing and Lettering Workshops for School Aged Kids (both Primary and High School aged kids), to learn, grow and work on technique, direction and imagination.

These workshops are suitable for the inexperienced and for those dabbling in Street Art techniques and styles, we welcome you all!

Leave your kids with us for the whole duration of the workshop and enjoy what Hamilton has to offer. We may know a good cafe if you want us to point you in the right direction!
